  • Horse Camp for Adults

    Offered for adults 18+, Spark Equestrian’s day camps at Phoenix River Farm provide an opportunity for adults to be introduced to horses. Throughout the day, students will learn the basics of horse care, grooming, and riding. We will also cover horse body language, herd dynamics and how we can use this knowledge to communicate effectively with horses. Students must wear long pants and close-toed shoes (preferably a boot with a heel). Helmets will be provided by the school; if you'd prefer your own helmet, it must be ASTM certified for horse riding. The camp will be held both indoors and outdoors, so dressing in layers/wearing sunscreen is recommended. Transportation is not provided to the horse farm.   • Intermediate Belly Dancing

    So now that you know a little bit about Middle Eastern Dance, you want to keep moving! This class is designed for students who have prior exposure to Middle Eastern dance. The level 2 curriculum focuses on refining beginning level moves, new techniques with more attention to dance combinations and transitions, musicality, and developing skills with finger cymbals. Some specialty techniques/props and basic layering techniques may also be introduced at this level. Prerequisite: Belly Dance Basics and Beyond or instructor permission. Bring a hip scarf, finger cymbals. This class will meet in person as social distancing requirements allow; class will be moved online via Zoom if that is not possible.
