Building Community Circles for Understanding and Action
Now is the time to “circle up” with your friends and family and have productive conversations that lead to greater understanding and positive change. Come to a free training session on how to create and foster your own Community Circle. Learn how to have meaningful conversations with people you know on topics such as race, equity, privilege, human rights, immigration, ability/disability, poverty, gender, sexuality, and your topics of interest. You’ll come away from the training with best practices that support inclusion, listening, and discussing topics that can be confusing or difficult. Build your toolkit of resources on current social & economic realities and learn ways that you can support action for lasting change.Who would you like to include in your circle? Bring them along!Let’s build a resilient, responsive & welcoming community, one conversation at a time. Please call Barb Westmoreland at 952-988-4069 with any questions.
