  • Aquatics Apprenticeship Program

    Hello, we are pleased to offer a paid apprenticeship program designed to develop young swimmers, future lifeguards, and great employees. The program offers comprehensive swim instruction, instructor training, and a pathway to free lifeguard certification for students who demonstrate commitment and skill development. Our goal is to foster aquatic safety, leadership, and career readiness among youth aged 14 and above. This is an opportunity to get paid while gaining experience and knowledge of the aquatics field. This class has two schedule options for Monday- Thursday ,9am-Noon or 2pm-4:30pm Initial Eligibility: Students aged 14 can enroll in the apprenticeship program. Advancement: Upon turning 15, students become eligible for our Free Lifeguard Certification Course if they meet program requirements. Prerequisites: Completion of all training sessions and demonstration of competence in water safety and instructional skills. Pay- $15 hour Hours - Summer Schedule :Session 1 9am-Noon Session 2pm-4:30pm (4-6pm option will be in the Fall/ Winter) 2. Program Structure & Timeline: Phase 1: Swim & Water Safety Lessons Focus: Basic swimming skills and techniques Water safety principles Rescue skills and emergency response Phase 2: Instructor Assistance & Aquatics Management Focus: Assisting certified instructors in delivering water safety lessons Managing the aquatics area under supervision Learning pool operations, safety protocols, and customer service Phase 3:Lifeguard Certification Focus: Complete Lifeguard Certification course, Once certified, students will be able to work as Hopkins staff.

  • Swim Lessons

    Join Fit-Future Aquatic Swim Lessons for Beginners This class is designed to help children become comfortable in the water while building strong foundational swimming skills. Swimmers will practice strokes breathing techniques and learn alongside peers and community members. Each student will take a pre-test to determine the right skill level. Our curriculum follows Level One to Level Three guidelines to provide a structured and supportive learning experience. Students will learn basic water safety become comfortable in the water and start developing swim strokes. Goals include: • Understanding water safety rules • Becoming comfortable in the water • Learning to submerge face and ears • Back floating • Developing motor skills such as scoops and kicks Level Two - Intermediate This level is for swimmers who can fully submerge their face and body. Students will continue practicing water safety and develop their swim strokes further. Goals include: • Understanding water safety rules • Developing backstroke and front crawl • Building endurance • Improving fundamental skills • Becoming more comfortable being underwater Level Three - Stroke Development This level is for advanced swimmers focusing on refining stroke techniques. Goals include: • Learning correct breathing techniques • Mastering freestyle backstroke and breaststroke
