Offered for adults 18+, Spark Equestrian’s day camps at Phoenix River Farm provide an opportunity for adults to be introduced to horses. Throughout the day, students will learn the basics of horse care, grooming, and riding. We will also cover horse body language, herd dynamics and how we can use this knowledge to communicate effectively with horses. Students must wear long pants and close-toed shoes (preferably a boot with a heel). Helmets will be provided by the school; if you'd prefer your own helmet, it must be ASTM certified for horse riding. The camp will be held both indoors and outdoors, so dressing in layers/wearing sunscreen is recommended.
Transportation is not provided to the horse farm. Adults registered are expected to find their own transportation and arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class.
Address: 5960 Town Hall Dr, Loretto, MN 55357
