Kids & Company Registration Page

Kids & Company is Hopkins Public Schools' premiere before- and after-school care program for children in Kindergarten through fifth-grade during the school year and 1-6 during the summer. A fee-based program, Kids & Company is offered in all six of the District's six elementary schools. As well as limited locations on non-school days.

Helpful hints for requesting a new contract:

1. We require 2 emergency contacts.
2. Payment method will be asked for before completing, but will not be charged until contract is approved.
3. Clinic and Doctor information is required.

At this time Kids & Company is at full capacity for the 2025-26 school year. 

Our Kids & Company Management Team meets weekly to review staffing levels to accommodate contract requests. As soon as we have sufficient staff to safely and satisfactorily accommodate more children, we will begin accepting additional contracts from the waitlist. 

If you have a contract on the waitlist, you will be notified by email when your contract is has been accepted. You can continue to monitor your placement on the Kids & Company Placement Dashboard.

We are encouraging all families to explore additional childcare options as there is no guarantee of placement before the school year starts. You can visit Hopkins Community Education Youth Enrichment for before and after school classes.

Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)

Kids & Company is a DHS Certified Child Care Program that accepts Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), if you have questions about CCAP, please contact Christine Beach-Olsen at (952) 988- 4076.

Scholarships with ResourceWest

Scholarship funds for qualifying families in need of assistance to pay for child care fees for Kids & Company are offered through ResourceWest.  The application period for the summer and school year programs in 2025 has now closed due to funding availability.

The next application period will open on February 2, 2026, for support during the summer and school year of 2026.
