    We will go back to the classics in this Camp Crafts and Games camp! Make a tie dye shirt, learn how to create friendship bracelets, use nature to make an awesome art creation and much more!   • Nature Into Clay Hand Building

    If you enjoy nature and the outdoors, this is the class for you. We will learn various techniques how to make garden art and nature inspired sculpture. This is not a wheel class. Dress for a mess, snack is optional.
  • Beginning Pottery

    This is a class for the potter learning how to throw on the wheel and learn various other techniques how to make pottery. Demonstrations will be provided throughout the week. Please wear tennis shoes and wear your hair back. Snack is optional.
  • Camp Royal Newspaper Camp!

    Spend your week at Camp Royal interviewing campers, taking pictures and creating a Camp Royal newspaper, all centered around a busy camp with lots of activities! The Camp Royal newspaper will be handed out to campers on the last day of camp.
  • Multi-Sport Camp

    DASH Sports Summer Multi-Sport camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football. Key sports skills will be taught and practiced in all 3 sports so athletes will come out of camp with a great understanding of key skill components and gameplay of each sport. Camp ends with games/scrimmages the final day for each sport, where athletes can showcase their skills. Campers should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle, snack and wear athletic shoes and clothing. All equipment is provided.

Students will learn the basics of 3D modeling and printing using Tinkercad, designing custom parts for their very own robots. By the end of the week, they’ll have built two exciting DC-powered robots—a sketchbot and a drive bot. This hands-on course encourages creativity and problem-solving, and students will need to be comfortable using a laptop and mouse to design their robots.

    Youth Horse Camp

    Learn how to ride, groom, tack up, lead and do in-hand work with horses. Enjoy horse-related crafts and activities from braiding a horse’s mane to feeding, watering and caring for these beautiful animals. No transportation provided. Participants must be transported to and from camp on their own: Boulder Pointe Equestrian & Event Center – 6612 189th Ln. NW, Anoka Proper attire includes sneakers or boots (closed toe and heel), long pants and layers, depending on the weather. Bring bug spray, sunscreen, nut-free snacks, water bottle and nut-free bag lunch. ASTM/SEI certified helmets provided. Signed waivers required. This camp is run in partnership with Hopkins-Minnetonka Recreation Services.
  • Summer Drivers Education

    Safeway Driving School provides a comprehensive, in-person, driver education program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for safe and responsible driving. Our program is open to students aged 14.5 to 18, offering flexibility and convenience for families. Pay $475 total, or choose our convenient payment plan: $275 at registration for the classroom portion, followed by a total of $160 due during the behind-the-wheel training. This amount can be divided between the first and second behind-the-wheel lessons. What's Included: 30 hours of classroom instruction: Covering state-approved curriculum to prepare students for their permit exam. 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training: Individualized, hands-on driving lessons with professional, experienced instructors. Flexible scheduling: Convenient class times and driving sessions designed to fit your student's busy schedule, with easy make-up options available for busy teenaged schedules. State certification: Upon completion of the program, students will receive all necessary documentation to apply for their Minnesota driver’s license. Important Timelines and Planning Tips: Students have one year from the end of the classroom portion or their 15th birthday, whichever is later, to complete their three, 2 hour, behind-the-wheel lessons. Safeway recommends 30 days between each behind-the-wheel lesson, with the final lesson completed about 30 days before the potential road test. It is essential for students to practice regularly with a supervising driver, as frequent practice builds the confidence and skills needed for successful completion of the program.     Bicycle Repair and Maintenance Camp

    This 1 week camp will teach you basic bike set up, trailside repair, shifting adjustments, brake adjustments, learn how to re-cable a bike for shifting and brakes, tube replacement, tips & tricks, and preparing a bike for selling, Students are free to bring a different bike to each class. Many of your bike issues can be solved in this class! Parts are an extra fee if it is something more major or we will help you source new parts if needed. Please bring a bike to class.
