  • Co-Ed 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

    Get ready for high-energy competition and nonstop action! Our 3-on-3 basketball tournament brings together real ballers, real referees, and real prizes. Whether you’re in it to win it or just looking to have fun, this weekly event delivers the perfect mix of competition and community. Bring your squad, show your skills, and leave it all on the court! This tournament is for players that are 18+. Referee to determine which team gets the ball first. The team must win by only one point. Teams score by either regular two-point baskets or by three-point shots taken from outside the three-point circle. After a basket has been scored or a foul called, a player must put the ball in play from the three-point line above the foul key. On fouls— each foul called will result in 1 point AND the ball for the offended team. After a team has reached 15 points- when fouled, a team will shoot free throws (1 and 1). All held balls will be put into play behind the three-point line with possession given alternately to each team. On defensive rebounds or steals, players must return the ball by dribble or pass across the three point line before a basket may be attempted. Once across the line, they do not have to pass the ball before shooting. After a basket, the team scored upon will put the ball in play. The three-second rule will apply to all offensive players Substitutions may be made after a basket or an out of bounds play. A made shooting foul, under 15 points, will result in a free throw attempt. It’s a live ball, if made, the ball goes to the opposing team.

You will leave knowing the techniques and types of products that will help you look your very best and you'll also receive a comprehensive handout.
  • Hand Embroidered Felt Ornaments

    Learn some basic hand embroidery techniques and stitch 2 embroidered felt ornaments. Choose between several options, including a Matryoshka doll and a Dala horse. There is a $10 supply fee due to the instructor for supply fees at the time of class.

Join us for this introductory class where you’ll learn 10 basic stitches including the Running, Back, Chain, and Blanket stitch, a French Knot, and more. Leave class with a project to do at home and the confidence to tackle hand embroidery on your own. Bring an 6-8” embroidery hoop and scissors. $5 supply fee paid to instructor.
  • Introduction to Nordic Spoon Carving

    Join us for a 3 hour introduction to the craft of greenwood spoon carving. You will finish the class with your own hand carved serving spoon. For the first part of class we will study safety, knife grips and traditional techniques for carving. For the rest of the class you will apply what you have learned to transform a spoon blank provided into your completed spoon. Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting full of wood chips and closed toed shoes. All tools and supples provided. No carving experience needed.
  • Machine Sewing—Beginner Projects

    Learn the basics of how to use a sewing machine, then make an Envelope Pillow Cover for a throw pillow (supplied in class). On completion of that first project, I’ll help you choose a second project that you’ll have success with. Possible second projects include a Pinch Potholder, a Mug Rug, a Zipper Pouch, a Tissue Holder, a Fabric Basket, and a Bowl Cozy. All materials Provided. Additional $12 supply fee to be paid to the instructor at the start of class.

Join us for this fun, informative class where you’ll come away with an understanding of machine set-up and operation as well as tips to get you started on your sewing journey. We’ll test out essential sewing accessories, learn about a variety of woven and knit fabrics and practice a variety of stitches.
