    Design your own 3D pocket monster using TinkerCad. This course will give students an introduction to using CAD modeling & design software. Student designed Pokémon will be printed and mailed home.     Mind-blowing myths or science facts? Join Science Explorers as we confirm or bust strange myths and wacky urban legends. We will ask the crazy questions, develop hypotheses, then we may smash it, crash it or launch it to determine if the myth is confirmed, plausible or busted.   • Indoor Gardening: Microgreens

    Students will learn how to grow a garden indoors only using water, no dirt! This growing method if called hydroponic growing. Indoor growing allows you to grow food organically without use of pesticides. Students will learn how to grow food all year round. Once students will learn the basics of hydroponic growing, students will plan their first microgreen plant. After class, students will take home their creation.   • Jr. Inventors with Makey Makey Boards

    Created for our youngest Ninjas, in this camp kids will use a Makey Makey circuit board and household materials, to learn about electronics, game controllers, and how hardware and software interact.   • Camp Mathnasium: Jump Start into Multiplication (addition) Madness

    Join in on the math games mania! Just as in the English language there exist multiple phrases to express the same concept, a mathematical problem can be approached in numerous ways. Numerical fluency is having the mathematical understanding to find the most efficient way of expressing, and then solving, a problem. Each student will also be assessed to be able to receive personalized learning.

    Students will be introduced to object-oriented programming and elements of the Java language while learning to code their text-based RPG (Roleplaying Game). No programming experience is necessary, but familiarity with common tasks using a computer operating system (text-editing and understanding directory structures) and good keyboarding skills is required.
