  • Carlson's Lovable Llama Farm Tour

    Come meet the lovable and personable llamas at Carlson's Farm! A farmworker will give the group a guided tour where you will learn all about these gentle and very special animals. Hands-on activities will include mingling with the llamas, taking the llamas on a trail walk, brushing and feeding treats (provided) to the llamas, visiting the gift shop, and more. All ages and abilities welcome. *All participants age 1+ will need to register *Transportation will not be provided. The farm tour will take place at Carlson's Lovable Llama Farm, located at: 8380 County Rd 10 E, Waconia, MN 55387 and will take place rain or shine.
  • Home Alone Safely

    Participants will learns the important responsibilities of being safe alone at home. Topics include basic first aid, fire safety, kitchen safety, internet safety, small and large emergencies, stranger danger, sibling arguments, and more.
  • Raising Racially Conscious Kids

    This is a six week virtual course designed for children in third through fifth grade and their caregivers. Students and caregivers will be given tools to engage in uncomfortable conversations, develop key terminology and concepts to understand racism, and promote the healthy racial identities of all people centered in love and humanity. Caregivers will also begin to unpack how everyday child rearing choices can be obstacles for equity. Daily schedule: 6:30-7:15pm (students only); 7:15-7:30pm (students and caregivers); 7:30-9pm (caregivers only)
  • Youth Horse Camp

    Learn how to ride, groom, tack up, lead and do in-hand work with horses. Campers will also enjoy horse-related crafts and activities from braiding a horse’s mane to feeding, watering and caring for these beautiful animals. Proper attire includes sneakers or boots (closed toe and heel), long pants and layers, depending on the weather. Bring bug spray, sunscreen, nut-free snacks, water bottle and nut-free bag lunch. ASTM/SEI certified helmets provided. Signed waivers required. This camp is run in partnership with Hopkins-Minnetonka Recreation Services. Van will pick up students at 8:00 a.m. inside Door B at Eisenhower Community Center to go to the Boulder Pointe Stables in Anoka.
