  • Emergency Form for Club Royal (Teens)

    This form is for Club Royal participants (7th-9th Grade) ONLY.  Camp Royal (K-6th grade) will be a separate form. Each Club Royal participant will need to fill out an emergency form. This form will provide Club Royal staff with important information regarding your student in case of an emergency. Simply register for the class below and fill out the questions. A parent or guardian will need to sign off on the following waivers:Accident Waiver:  In case of serious accident, injury or illness, I hereby authorize staff of Hopkins Public Schools to call 911 BEFORE notifying me, and to administer necessary first aid. If an ambulance is necessary, I understand that Hopkins Public Schools will not be held responsible for any costs that this may incur. Behavior Waiver: I understand that my child will need to follow all the rules of Club Royal and demonstrate the same behavior they would in school.  I understand that if my child cannot follow the rules of Club Royal, they may need to be picked up from camp for the day and/or will need to have a discussion with the Camp Director. Sunscreen Waiver: I will put sunscreen on my child before they arrive at camp if they are scheduled for an outside class. I permit staff to apply sunscreen to my child as needed. Late Fee Policy: I understand that there is a late fee of $1 per minute for pick ups after 12:30 pm for AM-only campers and after 4:30 pm for PM-only or all day campers. Photography Policy: I am aware that photographs of my child may be taken and used to promote Hopkins Community Education programs. If I do not want my child's photo taken, I will need to call the Community Education office at 952-988-4070. If your child needs medication distributed to them while attending Club Royal, you will need to fill out the appropriate paperwork found on the district website.   • Extreme Robotics: Battlebots

    Super-Charged NXT LEGO Robotics Projects! Get ready to take ultimate control!  Using the NXT Intelligent brick from LEGO®, servo motors, advanced ultrasonic, touch and light sensors, and specialized Lego technic engineering components, students will build extreme robots and overcome challenges. Students working in small teams will control the robot with NXT programs and then can experiment and modify the programs. Students will then be challenged to morph their projects in better, stronger or faster robots. Possible competitive robots built are Tug-O-War bots, hammer-bot, a claw-striker, and Sumo-bot.Please bring a drink & snack daily.
  • Flag Football Camp

    Spend a week with the Hopkin's football coaches learning the basics of football at this non-contact camp. We will focus on drills, games and techniques, all in a fun and safe environment. 
  • Fencing Summer Camp

    New and returning students invited. Youth Enrichment League {YEL!} fencing has evolved. Olympic Coach Ro Sobalvarro now heads up {YEL!}’s curriculum, instructor training and tournament consultation. Coach Sobalvarro brings with him an immense knowledge of youth, national and international fencing. We keep it fun, too.     It’s your move next!  Defend your base from waves of enemies! Students will create a web-based strategy game.The player will create towers along the road to their base to hold waves of bad guys. Student will create their Tower Defense Style game using a construct 2, a visual coding platform that teaches student the basics and structure of programming. Bring a USB drive, snacks and drink each day.
