Chair YogaFitnessChair yoga is a gentle practice that includes seated poses on the chair and standing poses using the chair for balance and support. Yoga can help manage arthritis and osteoporosis while strengthening your immune system. This class is ideal for those with limited mobility and strength, or who are healing from injuries. Participants will need access to Zoom and a straight back chair. What past students are saying about this course: Nancy Marcy is a treasure to Hopkins Community Ed!!! The instructor is very knowledgeable and personable. Willingly accommodates any physical limitations of the participants by explaining and demonstrating how to modify the pose to prevent pain or injury but still get desired stretch. Very enjoyable and beneficial class. I also appreciate this option for online class. As always, Nancy is terrific--well planned and prepared, energetic and very helpful. Great instructor; great class. Instructor provides lots of variety in poses to make each class unique, effective and enjoyable. Thanks.Adult Fall 2022
