    Hopkins Public Schools Emergency Child Care Request Form: Emergency school closure childcare April 6th through June 5th- cost is $14/day for before-care, $14/day for after-care with the school day hours free. Child care location: Eisenhower Elementary, Door A, 1001 Highway 7, Hopkins, MN 55305 Child care hours: 6:30 a.m. - 6:15 p.m. Meals provided: children will be served breakfast, lunch, and a snack. During the statewide closure of Minnesota schools, Hopkins Public Schools will provide child care for first responders who have children ages 4 to 12 who are currently enrolled in our preschool programs / elementary schools. We will also be providing child care for Hopkins Public Schools employees who are working in school buildings during this mandated closure for students. If your child is 4- to 12-years-old and not enrolled in Hopkins Public Schools, you will need to complete a waiver as you drop off your child for care. WE WILL NEED TO VERIFY YOUR EMPLOYMENT: When you first drop your child off, please show an employee badge or a letter from your employer on letterhead verifying your employment. Thank you!

  • Kids & Company

    Kids & Company is Hopkins Public Schools' premiere before- and after-school care program for children in Kindergarten through fifth-grade during the school year and 1-6 during the summer. A fee-based program, Kids & Company is offered in five of the District's six elementary schools. As well as limited locations on non-school days and Summer. Helpful hints for requesting a new contract: We require 2 emergency contacts Payment method will be asked for before completing, but will not be charged until contract is approved Clinic and Doctor information is required. Any request for School Year 2025-26 received as of April 26th will be added to the Wait List until space is filled. Contract Approval will begin the week of May 19, 2025, these approvals will be based on staffing and space availability. While we cannot guarantee placement of your student we would like to remind you of our process to set realistic expectations as we work to serve as many families as possible. - Registration process details are available here.     Skyhawks School-Aged Care is an after-school, and non-school day program for children entering kindergarten through sixth grade. Skyhawks Sports MN partners with Hopkins School District in a shared vision to develop the whole student to be confident, healthy, and respectful individuals ready for all that life has to throw at them. Skyhawks Sports Academy was established 42 years ago and offers skill-based, confidence-building opportunities for children ages 2 to 14.
