Bring your idol dreams to reality! Kpop dance combines elements of hip-hop and jazz, choreographed to Korean pop music. Class will focus on learning the choreography of a trending Kpop song. Learning Kpop dance offers a fun workout while sharpening your dance skills.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle to class. Be prepared to dance your heart away!
I have taught Kpop dance workshops since 2024 with K-Move (a Kpop dance cover performance group that I have been a member of since 2017), pop-up Kpop choreography classes at Cake Body Club in New Hope, and with private students under my own dance coaching business, Step Into The Spotlight with the Kpop Doctor. I have over 9 years of experience mastering Kpop choreography and related styles including hip hop, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, and high heels. Much of my dance training was spent in Seoul, South Korea, where I attended Kpop audition preparatory academies and dance studios that gave me the opportunity to train with the industry's top choreographers.
