VEDU Science Sprouts

Youth Programs / Art, Drama and Dance -
Youth Winter/Spring 2025

Become a curious scientist with your friends! Explore caring for the earth through fun hands-on STEM activities, including experiments that promote environmental stewardship, surprising ways to grow plants, and making some yummy snacks from plants we grow. Students will start flowers and vegetables to be transferred to the outdoor garden. It will be a fun and educational experience that will spark student's interest in science and the environment!

This class is for VEDU students and will take place at the Hopkins VEDU building in the multi-purpose room on 1st floor.

Parent volunteers are welcome. If you are interested in helping, please email Amie Mondl at rober199@umn.edu.

This class is sponsored by the Hennepin County Green Partners Grant program and is free of charge. Registration is required.
