How many clothing items are tucked away in your closet, waiting for that one little alteration? Join Sandra and discover great alteration tips and tricks including attaching buttons and embellishments, shortening hems and creatively patching rips and tears. Bring a few projects to work on in class, if desired. Basic sewing skills required. $5 supply fee paid to instructor. Bring your questions and supplies listed online.
Sandra S.Bengtson, owner of Avant Garb Fashions, was fortunate to learn how to sew by her mother at age 8. Decades later, Sandra’s passion for sewing has paved the way to fulfilling a lifelong dream; teaching others. As her mother did for her, Sandra is committed to spread her “love of sewing”. Sandra believes that providing a warm, inclusive classroom environment with fun and laughter, maximizes the learning experience and may even foster new friendships.
