Do you know how to use your sewing machine but looking for a simple project to build your confidence and skills? Choose from a variety of cotton fabrics and then make one or more simple projects: a bowl cozy, oven mitt, reusable gift bag, baby bib, pillowcase or pet bandana
Bring supplies listed:
• Sewing machine• White, all-purpose thread• Fabric scissors or rotary cutter and mat• Ruler• Seam Ripper
• Pins
$5-$15 supply fee paid to instructor depending upon project choices at the time of class.
Sandra S.Bengtson, owner of Avant Garb Fashions, was fortunate to learn how to sew by her mother at age 8. Decades later, Sandra’s passion for sewing has paved the way to fulfilling a lifelong dream; teaching others. As her mother did for her, Sandra is committed to spread her “love of sewing”. Sandra believes that providing a warm, inclusive classroom environment with fun and laughter, maximizes the learning experience and may even foster new friendships.
