The Composition in the Landscape Course is a five day course aimed for those who are interested in painting the different environments around us. We will look at how to consider the landscape and ways to suggest depth, light and shadow, texture and color while painting on location as well as in the studio. The course will also look at the urban landscape and provide tools to depicting architecture in tandem with nature to create images that reflect the spaces in which we live.
I have been teaching painting watercolor for fifteen years now. I worked at the Aegean Center for the Fine Arts in Paros, Greece for seven years teaching painting and drawing. Since then I lead intensive workshops which have been where I created a structure to teach clear watercolor education mixed with excursions and painting on location experiences. I currently teach online through in partnership with Etchr Lab (etchrlab.com), where I am one of their select Resident Artists.
