Free Swim Camp

Dive into the wonderful world of swimming with our Kids Open Swim Camp! This activity offers a safe and supportive environment for children to develop essential water skills, improve their confidence in the water, and learn fundamental swimming techniques. Led by certified instructors, the program focuses on building strong foundational abilities such as floating, treading water, and basic strokes, all while emphasizing water safety practices. Whether your child is a beginner or looking to refine their skills, our open swim lessons provide a fun and inclusive setting for children to grow as swimmers and enjoy the many benefits of being in the water.

Kids & Company is Hopkins Public Schools’ premier school-age before-school and after-school child care program. Offered in each of the District’s six elementary schools, Kids & Company is open Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 6:00 pm for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Kids & Company also offers full day child care during the summer months for students entering grades 1 – 6 for the upcoming school year. Our summer locations are located across the district at our elementary schools and North Middle School. Hours are 7:00am - 6:00pm. Glow-in-the-Dark Engineering

Illuminate the light this summer with awesome STEAM projects. Have fun as we explore glow in the dark pigments and learn the difference between fluorescent vs luminescent. We will also use LED lights to create a handy flashlight, light up under water sea monsters, engineer a cool night lamp and more! Full of fun STEM and art projects (STEAM)! Take home a light-up project every day!
