Day 1 – Thursday, September 24, 2026
Transfer from your pickup location in the metro area to MSP for a mid-morning flight on Delta to EWR. Shuttle service from the airport to Sheraton New York Times Square, conveniently located in the heart of New York City. Today you arrive in America’s most exciting metropolis for a getaway filled with shopping, sightseeing and endless entertainment. Relax and enjoy free time this afternoon and evening. [Note: The Museum of Modern Art is a 5-minute walk from the hotel.]
Day 2: Friday, September 25, 2026
An exciting day begins with breakfast at a local eatery, before embracing the city’s energy on a locally guided tour of the “Big Apple.” Find yourself in Central Park, on Fifth Avenue, in Greenwich Village and Chinatown.
See St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center and many other time honored landmarks. Take advantage of some free time this afternoon to discover the city at your own pace.
Your Tour Manager has countless suggestions on how to spend your time. Maybe you are up for a shopping spree at some of the world’s most legendary department stores, including Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Saks Fifth Avenue. Later, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Then, take your seat at a Broadway show! (B,D)
Day 3: Saturday, September 26, 2026
Enjoy breakfast at a local diner, then, board a ferry for a cruise of New York Harbor.
Take in the incredible views of the towering Statue of Liberty.
Dock and get up close to “Lady Liberty.” She has welcomed immigrants and visitors to New York Harbor since 1886. Created as a token of friendship between the U.S. and France, the Statue of Liberty has become a global symbol of freedom. Then it’s on to Ellis Island; step back in time on a self-guided tour of the museum. Come to know the personal stories of the immigration boom of 1892-1924 when 12 million people passed through this station on their journey to America. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore “the city that never sleeps.” Tonight, choose to join an optional walking tour of Greenwich Village. (B)
Day 4: Sunday, September 27, 2026 This morning, drive through the Wall Street district on your way downtown, reflect at the 9/11 Memorial and take a self-guided tour at the 9/11 Museum, two poignant tributes to the lives lost. This afternoon, the curtains rise for your second Broadway show. You’ll choose from a selection of Broadway’s biggest hits.* Say farewell to this extraordinary city tonight as we gather for your final taste of New York with dinner at a local restaurant. (B,D)
Day 5: Monday, September 27, 2026 Your tour comes to a close with many pleasant memories of your exciting tour of fabulous “New York, New York.” Take a late morning flight from EWR to MSP on Delta. A shuttle service from the airport will transfer you to your home address.
CONSIDERATIONS:
Pace of Travel
The overall activity level of this tour is level 3. This means you’re an on-the-go traveler. You don’t want to miss a thing, so walking and standing for longer periods of time isn’t a big deal. A moderately paced two and a half hour walking tour, covering several miles, is not problem for you. Walking four miles over the course of a day is very doable. You can climb three flights of stairs easily. Expect some longer days with early mornings or late nights balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own adventure. This level is not a fit for travelers who require mobility assistance devices. Travel is with an average of 37 people. Walking to dinner restaurants may require up to 0.75 miles each way. If you require any special assistance while on tour, please make us aware at time of reservation so the necessary request form can be sent to your attention. For the matinee Broadway performance, travelers will be provided with a selection of shows to choose from.
Broadway Show Selections
Two Broadway shows are included in this package. On day 4, passengers are able to choose. Day 2 is a group experience. Selection of shows is subject to change based upon availability. Actual shows available for choices will be advised approximately 80 days prior to departure (mid-July) and must be finalized by 50 days prior to departure (mid-August). Day of the Broadway show and performance selections are subject to change. Once travelers choose show of preference, changes are not permitted.

Gratuities to your Tour Manager, Local Guide, Drivers is not included in the trip price.

Booking Deposit: A $1,050.00 per-person deposit (and passenger registration information) is required to confirm your reservation.
Final Payment: Final payment is required on Monday, June 15 2026.
Cancellation: Because Travel Insurance is included in this price, passengers can cancel until 24 hours prior to departure to receive a refund, less the travel insurance premium in the amount of $349.00. Coverage takes affect when the deposit is made. In addition to trip cancellation, it includes Emergency Assistance, Medical Expenses, Baggage Delay, Baggage and Personal Effects.
Tour Documents: In late July tour documents will be issued.
