This class is designed to teach students how to sing Chinese songs. Through learning traditional and modern Chinese children's songs, students will not only grasp fundamental music theory but also experience Chinese music and culture. Additionally, they will enhance their target language skills in reading, listening, speaking, and singing.
In addition to performing as a choir for parents, friends and caregivers at the end of the session, students will also have opportunities to engage with native Chinese speakers, sing alongside Chinese community children's choirs, and participate in other Asian cultural events. These experiences will allow them to showcase and further develop their Chinese language proficiency.
This class will be taught in Chinese.
