The team that gets to the No Volley Zone (Kitchen) first usually wins the point. This classes teaches how to drop shots and reset the ball from the baseline through the transition zone to get to the NVZ and gain the offensive advantage.
Dave has been playing pickleball for over five years and is a PPR and DUPR certified coach. Over the past three years Dave has taught hundreds of courses and thousands of students from beginners to high-intermediates. He coaches at multiple facilities and privately throughout the Twin Cites and has been with Hopkins Community Center for almost two years. Dave’s philosophy is to ensure his students enjoy a fun and engaging atmosphere, while building their skills, mechanics, techniques and strategies through hands-on development and entertaining games. A willing to learn and big smiles are a requirement for his courses.
