Kpop Choreo Pop-Up

Youth Winter/Spring 2026

Bring your idol dreams to reality! K-pop dance combines elements of hip-hop and jazz, choreographed to Korean pop music. Class will focus on learning the choreography of a trending k-pop song. Learning k-pop dances offers a fun workout while sharpening your dance skills. 

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle to class. Be prepared to dance your heart away!

Rachel Liou


Rachel taught Kpop dance workshops since 2024 with K-Move, a Kpop dance cover performance group that she has been a member of since 2017.  Additionally, she taught pop-up Kpop choreography classes at Cake Body Club in New Hope, and with private students under her own dance coaching business, Step Into The Spotlight with the Kpop Doctor. Rachel has offered this dance class with Hopkins Community Ed since 2025.

She has over 9 years of experience mastering Kpop choreography and related styles including hip hop, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, and high heels. Much of her dance training was spent in Seoul, South Korea, where she attended Kpop audition preparatory academies and dance studios, giving her the opportunity to train with the industry's top choreographers.
