Are you hoping to represent Hopkins on the dance team someday? We will learn skills and dances in the 3 dance team styles performed at Hopkins, Jazz, Kick and Hip Hop. You’ll work with Ms. Karla, one of the fall dance team coaches, to learn what you’ll need to succeed as a Hopkins Dance Team member.
Wear form fitting clothes, any style jazz shoes and put long hair up in a secure ponytail, braid or bun.
Karla is the Owner of DanceXchange in Edina and has taught ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip-hop, kickline, acro, modern and liturgical dance since 1996. She currently teaches recreational and competitive dance at Transcendance Xperience. She was honored to coach the Hopkins Fall Dance Team for 6 years. She is passionate about developing a love for dance in everyone!
