Then join us as we investigate the two types of metamorphosis and discover how some bugs live in colonies. Also, we will learn how bugs eat, smell and survive. You will construct your own bugs, weave a web and more in this fun, hands-on class.
Science Explorers: Fascinating PhysicsIn Fascinating Physics, preschoolers will use their natural curiosity to explore physics, the science of motion. They will investigate force, friction, gravity, simple machines and much more with engaging activities and experiments. Lego® and K'NEX® building systems will also be used to enhance our learning. Please join us for this Jr. STEM class as we take our first steps into the fascinating world of physics.
Science Explorers: Wonders of NatureHave you ever wondered how animals survive in nature? Come discover the strange and fascinating ways nature takes care of its animals. We will investigate mimicry, camouflage, hibernation, migration and more to learn how animals live in the great outdoors. This hands-on class includes stories, art projects, songs, experiments and more as we look to nature and discover its wonders.
Science Explorers: Stars, Planets and StoriesBlast off with us for a fun filled trip to the stars. Upon our departure, we will learn about gravity and how it affects us here on earth. As we soar past the moon, we will investigate the planets of our solar system and how they orbit the sun. As we reach the end of our voyage, we will look to the constellations and learn their stories. We will create art projects, play games and more!
