  • Middle School Program

    We are excited to inform you that we will be offering before- and after-school middle school programming in 2023-2024 Royal Zone, our NEW before and after-school middle school exclusive youth program that will offer students choice and interest based activities and will include time for hanging out with friends, playing games, participating in sports, creative, and tech savvy experiences and student led projects. Royal Zone offers flexible scheduling for families. Memberships cover each quarter and youth can attend when they need. Dates: Monday - Friday Session 1: 9/5/2023 - 11/3/2023 Session 2: 11/8/2023 - 12/22/2024 Session 3: TBD Session 4: TBD Time: 7:00 am to 9:10 am 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm Location: North Middle School West Middle School students, transportation will be offered before and after school to and from North Middle School. Fees: Before School: $22.00 per day After School: $15.00 per day Before and After School: $37.00 per day Registration is per session. Weekly payment plans and scholarships are available. What’s Included: All Enrichment and daily activities and supplies Afternoon snack West Middle School students, transportation will be offered before and after school to and from North Middle School.   • Royal Learning Academy

    *Summer 2023 Royal Learning Academy registration is closed and we are at capacity. We will not be accepting any additional registrations.* Welcome to Summer at Royal Learning Academy! We are excited your scholar has been invited to join us. This invitation is a wonderful opportunity to enhance your scholar's learning experience and to have tons of fun this summer! The mission of Royal Learning Academy is to expand and enrich learning opportunities that compliments your scholar’s school year experience. The program uses a variety of hands-on learning approaches to help all scholars be successful. Classes are taught by licensed teachers and are designed to support academic and social skills in a fun atmosphere. Our goal is to provide a program that enhances scholar engagement, creates meaningful experiences, builds relationships, and supports scholars’ academic goals. The curriculum is well thought out and designed to meet the academic needs of your scholar. Scholar voice (and choice) is an important aspect of engaged learning. Scholars are required to attend 6 full weeks. Funding for your scholar's participation is provided by the State of Minnesota’s Targeted Services program. Participation is optional and at the discretion of parents and caregivers. Scholars must qualify for Royal Learning Academy and must have been invited by their classroom teacher. Location: Eisenhower Elementary, Enter in Door A, 1001 Hwy. 7 Hopkins, MN 55305 Days & Times: Monday - Friday June 20th - July 28th, 2023 There will be no Program June 19th and July 4th Drop off starts at 8:45 a.m. and Pick up by 4:00 p.m. All Pick ups and drop offs should be made at Door A Daily attendance is required Meals: Breakfast and lunch will be provided by Hopkins School Nutrition. Registration for breakfast or lunch is not required. Parents and Guardians should see the School Nutrition website for the meal calendar.     Summer Youth Programs

    Summer 2024 Camps will open on February 1st at 8pm for registration! Summer is always an adventure at Hopkins Community Education! Our goal is to provide a safe, enriching and fun summer for your child. We are committed to providing a wide variety of class options to meet every child's need and interest. Check out these summer programs: Camp Royal offers a variety of camps for students entering Kindergarten to 5th grade. We focus on flexibility, variety and affordability, as well as hiring only the best staff to spend the summer engaging with your child. We offer half day or full day camp options as well as supervised choice time from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and over lunch time. All camps take place at the Eisenhower Elementary School. Campers can be dropped off as early as 8:30 a.m. and picked up as late as 4:30 p.m. Camp Royal pick up and drop off will happen in the Eisenhower Elementary School bus loop. Parents will not be allowed into the building unless it's for an emergency. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to students attending a full day of Camp Royal June 17 to August 8. A digital list of Camp Royal camps can be viewed online HERE. Sport options including volleyball and football camps. Camps for Jr. High Students including cooking, pottery, chess and STEAM classes. Driver Education classes throughout the summer. Please note that the grade listed for each summer class will be the grade your student will be going into for the 2024-2025 school year. Cancellation and Refund Policy: We will gladly refund your class registration fee if you cancel and request a refund 5 business days prior to the first class, minus a $5 cancelation fee. To cancel a class, please call 952-988-4070. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. In that case, we will email and make arrangements to refund your class fee.

    Community Education Youth Programs offers a wide variety of out-of-school time enrichment classes, athletic activities and online programs that will expand your child's learning experiences. Hopkins Community Education Winter/Spring and Summer 2024 classes are now open for registration. Try something new or look for your favorites! Cancellation and Refund Policy: We will gladly refund your class registration fee if you cancel and request a refund five business days prior to the first class, minus a $5 cancellation fee. There will be no refunds for class fees $5 and under. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. In that case, we will contact you and make arrangements to refund your class fee. There is no cancellation fee for classes Community Education cancels.
