Jim Clark, an award-winning draftsman and painter, has a passion for art and teaching. He received his art degree at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, in addition to studying through the Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne and at the Academie de Port-Royal in Paris.

His belief in the communicative powers of art shapes his teaching philosophy. He is an enthusiastic instructor who excels at helping students reveal their potential.

A Minnetonka native, he lived in Alaska for over a decade and returned to Minnesota to enjoy the warm winters. He is active as a member of the Hopkins Center for the Arts and the Glen Lake Optimists.
