Enjoy a blast from the past with the once-again-popular art form, Macrame. A fixture of every 1970’s home, this art form is making a come back on the contemporary art scene. In this project, participants will learn a variety of knot-tying techniques to create a unique macrame plant shelf perfect for any home.
Caponi Art Park - Lauren Balogh
Erin Stahl is a Park Educator and Teaching Artist for Caponi Art Park. She enjoys teaching classes for artists of all ages at Caponi Park and through the Caponi on the Road program. Erin grew up in Fergus Falls, MN and earned her BFA in Painting from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She’s been an artist, graphic designer, and community art teacher for over 20 years. Her own creative work focuses on art journaling, mixed media, and watercolor. When Erin’s not teaching or making art, she enjoys knitting, reading, and exploring the twin cities’ hiking trails with her husband, teenage daughter, and dogs.
