Try out Yoga-Sutra body meditations in a loving-kindness atmosphere. Discover how to relax, breathe, use safe focus points, and quiet your inner mental and emotional tapes. Learn from a college teacher with sixty years of experience—Eastern, Western, nonreligious, science friendly. Wear comfortable clothes; we’ll sit normally in chairs.
This class will be offered online, via Zoom.
I recently retired from Inver Hills Community College after 30+ years of teaching college composition, humanities, and literature. I've been meditating using many styles and cultures' meditation systems, for 50+ years, with an emphasis on Eastern, particularly Hindu and Buddhist, methods but with practice in Christian and earth religions' methods, as well. I have three masters' degrees, one in English and two in theology and ministry. I introduce people to meditation using a nonreligious, science-friendly standard.
